Mariah Carey has got to be one of the most shrewd business women we know. Not only did she famously negotiate a $10m settlement from her ex fiancee for 'wasting her time', she also managed to keep the 35 carat emerald cut engagement ring he gave her when he proposed in 2019.
For a period of time after their split, Mariah moved the ring she called 'so heavy she can't lift her arm' to her right hand yet reports state she has now infact sold it, for less than the $10m it was originally appraised at.
Mariah, one of the most beautiful women in the world, is thought to have not wanted the emotional baggage that comes from holding onto an engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.
The ring itself, is known to be a massive 35 carat emerald cut centre stone, that sits in between two tapered baguettes, on a platinum band. It's the second largest celebrity engagement ring to date, that eclipses that of Beyonce's 24 carat and Kim Kardashian West's 15 carat engagement ring combined.
Mariah Carey's special 35 carat ring is said to have been designed by her close friend of over 25 years Wilfredo Rosado.

Mariah Carey's engagement ring holds the title for the second largest celebrity engagement ring in the world, the first place having been scooped by Grace Kelly's 10.48 carat emerald cut ring given to her by Prince Rainier of Jordan in 1956. It's currently owned by the House of Grimaldi and said to be worth around $45 million.
